Mr Monkey found out that there were divisions within the Black Panthers and that Emory, as Minister of Culture, had to produce posters and newspaper artwork to appeal to different tastes. One group of designs, promoting violent response to police action, were drawn in a bold and aggressive cartoon style with lots of guns and ammunition. The quotes at the top to explain the image were quite wordy, though*.
* The caption of the poster on the left reads : "BLACK PEOPLE CAN DESTROY THE MACHINERY THAT'S ENSLAVING THE WORLD. AMERICA CANNOT STAND TO FIGHT EVERY BLACK COUNTRY IN THE WORLD AND FIGHT A CIVIL WAR AT THE SAME TIME. IT IS MILITARILY IMPOSSIBLE TO DO BOTH OF THESE THINGS AT ONCE"
