Mr Monkey goes from Quay to Sea, 14th December

The boat carried on upriver. Mr Monkey looked up at the King Edward VII Bridge, opened in 1906. It was built for the North Eastern Railway at a cost of £500,000 as an alternative to the High Level Bridge. Next Mr Monkey went under the Redheugh road bridge. Opened in 1981 this is the third bridge at Redheugh.
