As the DDNGR took Mr Monkey back to their platform he realised that one locomotive had pulled him one way, and the other was pulling him back. He did wonder if the little industrial diesels didn't have reverse gears. It started raining again, and Mr Monkey and his humans hid in the carriage with the DDNGR volunteers until it stopped.
