Mr Monkey takes the Scarborough Flyer to York, 10th September

"You'd think they'd know where they were going to put a train, wouldn't you?"

There was some confusion about which platform the Scarborough Flyer was going to come into York on, so Mr Monkey waited on the overbridge until he spotted a steam locomotive coming into the station. Then he had to scamper down the steps and all the way along the platform because on the return journey his carriage was near the front of the train. He got on board in time and was soon watching smoke blowing past his window as the locomotive started working its way up into the hills.
