After arriving in London, Mr monkey caught the Tube to Colindale station, and scampered up a hill to the museum. One the way to the main entrance he passed life size fibreglass replicas of a Spitfire and a Hurricane. The RAF used to put real Spitfires outside their bases, until they started falling to bits. Then the RAF realised they were destroying their own history, and started using replicas like these instead.
