Mr Monkey at RAF Hendon

"I'm not sure these are totally safe, you know"

Mr Monkey with a Blériot XI Mr Monkey beneath a Fokker DVII

The first gallery Mr Monkey visited was the Milestones of Flight, which has examples of aircraft that marked an important step in the history of flight. Mr Monkey was taken with the Blériot XI, the first way to cross the English Channel without touching the water, and the highly manoeuvrable Fokker DVII, possibly the best fighter plane of World War One.

There's a full list of these planes at the Milestones of Flight Collection website.
