Leaving the millyard, Mr Monkey scampered along the side of the mill. There's a sign over the door which says Quarry Bank Mills built by Samuel Greg Esquire of Belfast Ireland Anno Domini 1784. This gave Mr Monkey a clue as to who built the mill, when he built it, and where he came from, but didn't tell him it cost £3000, and that was when a pound was worth something.
