The Great Hall of Eltham Palace was built in the 1470s for Edward IV. The Courtaulds restored it to match their idea of what a medieval hall should be, including things like a minstrels gallery that probably didn't exist in the middle ages, and central heating which definitely isn't medieval. Mr Monkey thinks it looks impressive, even if it is unrealistic.
