Mr Monkey at Tavistock Square

"I thought these looked Egyptian, even though they're from the Sudan"

Mr Monkey found a temporary exhibition about the Sudan, and scampered around it. He was most interested in the carvings from when everyone thought the Sudan was called the Kush, and was part of the empire of Egypt.

You can read about the Sudan: past and present exhibition at the British Museum website.
