Mr Monkey visits the Empire State Building

"It's quite a view, you know"

Mr Monkey looking down on Manhattan Mr Monkey looking towards Lower Manhattan

Mr Monkey looked south towards Lower Manhattan, and the wall of tall buildings in the financial district on the tip of the island. Closer to the Empire State Building, he examined the golden cone that livens up the top of the 1928 New York Insurance Company building. This side of the deck seemed to be the most popular, possibly because you can see the Statue of Liberty if you look from the right corner. And if you have good eyesight, or binoculars

You can read about the NY Life Insurance building at the New York City architecture website.
