Mr Monkey decided that he couldn't visit New York without going up the Empire State Building. Without even letting his humans have any breakfast, he took the subway to 33rd and 6th, then scampered along 33rd street until he spotted a tower 1454 feet high. From 1931 to 1972 this was the tallest building in all the world, and it only took one year and 45 days to build.
