Mr Monkey's Dockland Walk

"If only we had some mist to see it through"

Mr Monkey loking at St John's Church Mr Monkey looking St John's school

Mr Monkey went up a side street to look at St John's Church, built in 1756. The contrasting dark brick and light stone was supposed to make the tower visible through river mists. He was also interested by the statues of children over the doorway to what used to be St John's school until it was converted into houses.
