As he looked at the vegetable plot, which has Elizabethan bird scarers made from potatoes with feathers, Mr Monkey saw a lot of people leaving, so he scampered into the rather large cottage. It's not often that you see a cottage with two storeys and 14 rooms. Of course, it wasn't this big when William Shakespeare came here courting Anne Hathaway.
