Mr Monkey found himself on Henley Street, where he admired the statue of a Shakesperian jester balancing on a column. This was made by the sculptor James Butler. Mr Monkey scampered off along Henley Street, which has been pedestrianised, probably to give all the people going to Shakespeare's birthplace somewhere safe to stand before and after their visit.
You can read a bit about James Butler at the Artists of Coventry and Warwickshire website.
