Before Mr Monkey left the Marché au Poissons, he watched the roundabout slow down and stop, then saw happy children trying to work out how to get out of their biplanes, hot air balloons and space rockets. Hearing some music he investigated a bandstand, only to find that the band were all mechanical, forced to play a merry tune by some unseen puppetmaster.
