Mr Monkey in Newcastle, January 11th

"Well, I'm not cold, but then I am furry"

Friday
Mr Monkey had planned to spend the afternoon taking a walk around Blackfriars and the old town wall of Newcastle. He started in Charlotte Square, looking at houses built in 1770, but by the time he'd got to a new entertainment complex called The Gate, his humans were complaining that they were cold and many of the buildings they were supposed to be looking at were missing or disguised. So Mr Monkey let them have a coffee, then took them back to the hotel.

Mr Monkey's train ride into Newcastle started in London.
