The next thing to look at on the walking route was the church of St Bartholomew the Great, so Mr Monkey scampered through the passage that used to be the gatehouse of the Priory of Saint Bartholomew the Great. Mr Monkey began to wonder why there were so many gatehouses left over from old priories and monasteries.
