Mr Monkey was intrigued by the Grenville Steam Carriage and its shiny boiler. This was built in Glastonbury around 1880, and is just a small steam engine with three wheels and some seats attached. It needs a driver, and a fireman, and someone to do the steering, and it can take up to four passengers. It's been restored and in high gear it can do 20mph, at 8-10 gallons of water and 6-10lbs of coal to the mile.
