Mr Monkey scurried down a set of steps into the dry dock that the S.S. Great Britain was built in, and should now stay in forever. Mr Monkey checked that the caisson keeping the water out really was keeping the water out, and inspected all the steps the Victorian workers used to get in and out of the dock. He also checked the supports holding up the clear roof, and, when he was sure everything was safe, set out to examine the bits of the S.S. Great Britain that should be under water.
