Mr Monkey walks the walls of Chester


"I suppose they had to call it something"

Just before the north-west corner of the walls, Mr Monkey found that the Victorians had run a railway tunnel underneath the walls. At the actual corner itself, Mr Monkey wondered how Bonewaldersthornes's Tower had got its name, but no-one seemed to know. It might be an Anglo-Saxon king's name, of course.
