Mr Monkey in Clitheroe

"Is taking turrets from Parliament legal ?"

Mr Monkey in the Memorial gardens

On the way to the Clitheroe museum to learn about the town's history, Mr Monkey paused in the castle gardens. The spiky thing behind Mr Monkey is a turret from the Houses of Parliament, presented to the people of Clitheroe by Captain Brass, an MP, in memory of George V. We're still not quite sure how come the captain had a large chunk of masonry to hand out.
