Mr Monkey walks the rest of York's walls, August 11th

"A monkey would never be on the losing side"

Mr Monkey found that there was a museum in Micklegate Bar. He scampered around it, investigating the history of Micklegate, the people who lived in the area, and the traitors who'd had their heads displayed on spikes outside the tower overlooking the road from London. Mr Monkey strongly suspects that the heads on display in the top floor of the museum aren't the originals. You can take a picture of your head on a spike, but Mr Monkey didn't; he claims that traitors are always losers.

You can read about the museum at the Micklegate Bar museum website.
