Before going back to his hotel, Mr Monkey inspected the memorial erected in memory of all the workers of the North Eastern Railway who died in the Great War. Then he found a small garden just opposite his hotel which turned out to be the burial ground where 185 people who died of cholera between June and October 1832 were buried.
