Mr Monkey in the Domien Raversijde, August 27th

"I think the guns are getting smaller"

As the war went on, the Germans changed the guns mounted in the battery. Mr Monkey found a 37mm Flak 36 in an emplacement built for one of the 120mm Belgian field guns, because the battery was on the route for bombers attacking Germany. Then he found a gun position made of brick but originally disguised to look like concrete. It was built in a bit of a panic after D-Day, holding a 37mm PAK 36 (with a special anti-tank grenade) to defend the rear of the battery.
