Mr Monkey in Ghent

"I suppose they'd have just made rude gestures or something"

Mr Monkey stopped looking at cranes on Korenlei and started staring the buildings on the Graslei opposite. These included the Koornstapelhuis, a Romanesque grain warehouse built in 1200, a tiny customs house beside it, and a number of guildhouses built at different times and in different styles. Mr Monkey was interested to see that the 1531 Gildehuis van de Vrije Schippers (Free Boatmen) wasn't exactly opposite the House of the Tied Boatmen.
