Mr Monkey's Ghent boat trip

"It doesn't look that Chinese to me"

In the nineteenth century it was rather fashionable to have a Chinese teahouse at the bottom of your garden, and there are a few left along the Leie. Mr Monkey looked at them as he went past, then got a glimpse of the old buildings of the J.F. Heymans Institute of Pharmacodynamics. Cornelius Heymans was the director of this institute when he won the 1938 Nobel Prize for Physiology and Medicine.
