Mr Monkey paused outside the tiny carpark of the Crown Hotel, admiring the stone crown full of flowers. The Crown was established in 1740, though the current building was built in 1847 and expanded in the 1870s. Mr Monkey went into the hotel and collected his humans' tickets for the crime writing festival.
