Beside another greenhouse Mr Monkey found the Poison Bed, packed with poisonous plants. Not needing to poison anyone he scampered past until he arrived at the Rockery Pond. This has Grade II* listed status and is the oldest man-made rock garden in Europe. Some of it used to be the Tower of London, and other parts are basaltic lava brought back from Iceland in 1772 by Sir Joseph Banks. Mr Monkey was careful to avoid the dangerous water in the middle.
