As well as the Whippet and the FT17, the museum has a British Mark IV tank. Mr Monkey inspected it and could tell it was a male tank by the length of its guns*, then ran off to study the many cabinets of uniforms and small arms scattered around the hall.
*Technically, the Male had a six-pounder gun in each of its side sponsons, while the Female had only a machine gun. But the six-pounder was longer than the machine gun.
You can read about the Mark IV at the Landships website.
