Mr Monkey in Chester, May 26th

"That gate would look better with towers, I think"

Mr Monkey looking at the Dee from the Old Dee Bridge Mr Monkey walking on the Old Dee Bridge towards Bridgegate

Mr Monkey scampered across the bridge, and carefully leant over the wall to look at the river. The Dee used to be the centre of a salmon fishery so large that there was a law preventing apprentices being given salmon more than twice a week, but Mr Monkey wasn't intending to do any fishing. He turned and scampered back towards Chester.
