Mr Monkey ascends York Minster's East Front

"I wasn't really expecting this"

Mr Monkey had found out that the stoneyard of the Minster was having an open day. As this only happens once a year, Mr Monkey couldn't ignore the unexpected opportunity, especially as he would be able to take a lift up the East Front to see the restoration work.
